There is a article in the newest Time magazine about the tension between Bush and Cheney caused by the Scooter Libby pardon request, during the last days of the Bush Administration. I'm not big on Time magazine articles, but it paints an interesting portrait.
Please don't bother posting about it being a liberal rag -- if you are not interested, then don't seek it out.

Who is/are Bush/Cheney?? Who is Palin? Part of history I guess, so can we give it a break? And no I didn't follow the link, just not interested anymore.. More concerned about 'the now.'

And, because asked, just finished "A God in Ruins," Leon Uris. Pretty good read, published long ago, my mother in law found it as a volunteer at her church's bargain basement for the poor at a bargain price.. I will redonate it.. Hardcover, no less..

I think we all wonder what goes on between a President and a Vice President, don't we? They always put on a good face, but do they really like or respect each other when the cameras are off?
From the article I got that Cheney could not believe that Bush would not "give" on the issue of the Libby pardon.

BTW, I donate most of the books I've read that I don't care to hang onto for my personal collection. I assume a lot of other people are like me -- I enjoy donating because I get to pass along a book someone else would enjoy, as well as providing money to good causes. Heaven knows with the recession and the cutbacks on public funds and charitable donations, they need to have a good way to raise money.

and suspect you are a hoot, but you missed my point.. your response was in the present tense.. I doubt that 'much currently goes on between Bush and Cheney.' I think of them in the past tense.. They did some stuff right, and screwed up alot royally.. So let's them be part of history... That's all I was trying to say..

And I also donate my books to charity.. good for us..

I didn't miss your point, I got it; but then I screwed up what I was trying to say. I even wonder if Obama thinks Biden is really a bigmouth.
