The last line of storms has just passed through here in the Windermere area. No thunder and lightning to speak of. The wind did pick up to about 25 mph at one point and I had another 1/3 inch of rain for a total today of 1.25 inch. The temperature has dropped about 10 degress in the last 1/2 hour so those of you coming for the weekend be prepared for cooler and windy conditions.

You have done such a wonderful job keeping us all abreast of the weather conditions at the lake today -- Thank you and I am being serious here !!!

Based upon your diligence I think you should be the offical Lake Martin Forum severe weather reporter, as I am sure all that are not fortunate enough to be fulltimers at the lake are concerned not only about our property, but more so about our lake neighbors, friends and the surrounding communities

Therefore, you are now officially the LM Forum officialy severe weather reporter. Thank you again.

All in favor, say yea!!

Maverick,

Thank you for your kind words but unfortunately I am not a full timer (yet) and therefore cannot accept the role you have graciously offered. While I am retired and working toward full time lake resident status I just happened to be at the lake for this weather event. While it is great that we escaped any damage my brother in law in Columbus, Georgia lost his house this afternoon to storms that hit that area and caused severe damage. I will be heading home tomorrow to help him and his family recover and hope that everyone will keep his family and those in Enterprise and elsewhere in their prayers as we cope with this disaster. However when I am at the lake I will try and keep everyone informed if there is a significant weather event.

God's peace
