I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid level governmental functionary, be it Dem. or Rep!
I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.
I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, try to do it in English.
I think fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July.
I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster. In fact, if your parents are footing the bill to put your pansy a$$ through 4 years plus of college, you haven't begun to be enlightened.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry a$$ if you're running from them.
I also think they have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

Did you see on tv last night how they were searching a man's house in California that had died. They found lots of guns and were trying to make it sound like he was some sort of weirdo or crazy because he had a lot of guns. Just the comments that they were making and showing his sticker on his truck from American Rifle Assn. etc... I thought my husband was going to explode. Liberal bunch of freaks! Not everyone that has guns is crazy or weird or gonna go out and shoot up the world.

I've gotten it a couple times and have never forwarded it.
I also got one supposedly done by Robin Williams that's said to be false.
Don't know about this one, but probably so.
I'd think if one of these high-profile guys said something so poignant, we'd know about it through other avenues than emails and message boards.

It is an excellent piece, but not written by George Carlin. Take a look Snopes.com - it's a site that is basically an urban legend reference page. They say that Carlin didn't write it. Check it out....

I certainly endorse whoever so eloquently quoted those truths. (TruthMan! Geez...how do you change a screenname?) Unfortunately, the course of this nation is directed by entities much larger than you and I.
Once you understand the truth, you'll quickly wish you did not.
This nation is quickly becoming dependent instead of independent. Kinda takes the fun out of Independence Day doesn't it?
Soon, the best way to get ahead in this country will be to be lazy, stupid, incompetent and worthless and allow yourself to be taken care of. Governments would love you for it.
