Which tiger is Tommy going to turn to for 2005? My bet is that Mr. Tuberville will take the offer from LSU and tell Auburn to kiss his rear end. He'll have a much larger talent pool with LSU and a better chance at winning the national title he's going to miss this year.

Disagree, if for no other reason than his "little" place on Lake Martin. Who, in his right mind, would give that up? Also, not to sure the corn dogs like Tommy to much. I think it is mostly his agent.,Sexton, trying to leverage the situation into a better deal in Auburn. Who can blame him; that's what agents do.

If Tommy takes the deal your search is over. Have you seen his little Bungalow on the Lake? It's got you written all over it!

Do you think there's a better deal in Auburn for ole Tommy T.? By the way, where is Tommy's place on the lake?

Don't really know. Pretty sure he will be making more than me at either venue. His place is in the Bama park slough. Huge place, nice lawn, pool and a big flag pole with an Auburn flag on it.....imagine that. I have seen him at Chuck's Marina several times with his boys. You won't meet a nicer, more humble guy. Hope he stays but, business is business.

Toommy's not going anywhere. He's got it made. Sexton lives in my neighborhood here in Collierville. He's been known to stir the pot a little bit.

And has been for a year or so. His wife doesn't like the lake, and they never use it. Make a bid, I'm sure he'll take it.

Is it still for sale? I seem to remember a "for sale" sign last year around Petrino-gate time but, it seems the sign disappeared a short time later. It is funny you mention his wife does'nt like the lake because of all the times I have seen him there, I have never seen his wife.

I think it's called Bama Park. It is like a trailer park on the water. If you are going from Chuck's(Blue Creek area) towards Chimney Rock, it is the first big slough on the left.

And the story is that his wife "tried" to like the lake, but finally admitted that she's just a "beach gal" and prefers their condo at the Gulf. They sinmply weren't using the home much, and obviously don't have to sell it in a hurry, so they've been very firm on the sale price.

I would be too. It is a beautiful home with a terrific view.

Tommy's lake house is in a subdivision called Marina Marin. I think this is a gated community. It was developed by Richard Scrushy. Don't know if he still owns it. The house was a featured listing in the lake homes for sale magazine in the fall. It sits on a small point with a pool in front of the house. The house was also featured in the Lake Martin Living magazine a couple years back.
