Never ceases to amaze me how the govt media all get the same talking points at the same time.  So now the whole thing is about family values and a father's unconditional love of a son who is afflicted by addiction.  I think I might puke.  No one.....and I mean no one, cares about Hunter Biden's addiction and moral depravity other than the obvious fact that he worked in concert with his father to sell access to the U.S. government for tens of millions of dollars from countries like China, Ukranine, Romania and probably many others.  This is about the corruption of the Biden family and elaborate schemes to hide bribe money, including what went to the Big Guy.  It is also about the DOJ actively refusing to indict them both despite plenty of evidence and recommendations from IRS and FBI agents to do so.

That the media, as more and more evidence is presented and whistleblowers come forward, decide to spin this in such an utterly ridiculous way is prima facie evidence that they are no longer jounralists, they are the media arm of the DNC.  No one is buying this spin but they do it anyway despite crushing what little credibility they have left.

Its fine and well to love and support your son, but to keep putting him front and center, like inviting him to an important State Dinner.  To keep denying that his son is a criminal and that even if his son didn't kick money up to him (which I don't believe) he broke the law and for all we know, he is still breaking the law.  It just goes to show how poor his judgement is.  

And obviously they have Garland under their thumbs.  I believe there are 5-6 whistleblowers and that give them credibility in my book.

Meanwhile Dementia Joe has announced that Putin is losing the war in Iraq.  The reality is that he HAS to support his co-conspirator son lest old Hunter decides to go scorched earth on the rest of the family.  I feel fairly certain he won't go down alone and will take the entire crime family with him.  If it ever comes to that.....which given the corruption at DOJ I am not optimistic.

And we could have had Garland on the Supreme Court.  I honestly do not see an end to all of this.  As long as current powers have hold on DOJ the one sided justice will continue.  And is there a possibility DOJ gets into the hands of GOP?  Maybe, but even when Trump had it, he had Sessions!!  Enough said.

That's the problem with our current Federal government in terms of size, scope and far reaching power.  It doesn't matter to them who is President and the political appointee du jour running their agency.  They are civil servants and will still be there wielding their power until Congress finally takes back their role as legislators.  They abrogate their responsiblity to the administrative state because they are cowards and only care about being reelected. 

Leftists understand this and that is why the bureacracy is overwhelmingly controlled by Democrats.  They get into positions of power and only hire like minded people.  The only way this gets fixed is to distribute the Federal bureaucracy around the country and stop concentrating so much power in DC.  And while they are doing that they need to reduce the size and scope of the Federal government.  So basically nothing will happen regardless of who is the current POTUS.

Redistributing the federal government outside of DC isn't going to fly, because it is too expensive.  Don't forget that the federal governent Departments are run by political appointees at a lot of levels beyond the Head person.  But the Justice Department, by virtue of being run and populated by lawyers is always going to be a problem, because I think the vast majority of lawyers lean liberal, just like the State Department and the Commerce Departments, among others.  

As long as our legislative branch continues to be the investigative body and not the legislative body, there is going to be the same push/pull.  

I think my biggest disappointment is in the FBI.  I always thought that if we could trust anyone, it would the FBI.  

I'm reluctant to try to defend the civilian workforce these days.  In my years, people were pretty much apolitical, but now I am not so sure.  No reason to think that civilian workforce wouldn't have become as political as the rest of the population.  Most of the people of my era have retired and been replaced by much younger people who lean liberal.
