So right now I'm sitting up in Hanceville. It's cold, raining, and sleeting a bit. It's straight up miserable. All I can think about it the lake on an early, warm summer morning with crystal blue skys. Sitting on the dock drinking some coffee watching the early morning bass fisherman zip here and zip there. Wondering if I can get a good slalom in while the lake is still like glass!

*sigh*

Now that deer season is over I really have nothing to do until spring. I suppose I need go to the cabin and rake leaves.. blah blah. Or I could bring the boat back to gardendale seeing as it could use a good wax and a few places of stitchings patched. And a new Cd player.. think I banged the brains out of mine last 4th.

WOW I can't wait till warm weather!

I hope it comes soon before work gets really busy. I would love to get together and meet you guys. Hate I missed all the gatherings last year.

Well, I had to vent to someone. And who better to vent to than my fellow lake bums/forum trolls.

It's cold as you know what here at the lake this morning....misting rain...2 or 3 degrees lower and I think it would sleet here......bring on the Spring!

ya, i just went to hardees and got some breakfast. Jeep informed me that it is 34 degrees up here. Just what I wanted to know. Dam this cold weather.

Had coffee on the dock early Saturday morning with a rod in the water. Saw a few fisherman shivering on the glass. Even though it was cold, I think half the fun of Lake Martin is knowing it will be there when the time is right......and that time is soon.
