One of those huge cabin cruisers, running right down the middle of Kowaliga Bay, kicking up yet another pier-crushing, shore-eating monster of a wake.

Ban them yesterday, and it will still be too late.

WHY all of a sudden is it a problem?? My family has been on the lake for thirty years and there has always been big boats and cruisers.

It's not Fountain. Everyone all of a sudden thinks Lake Martin is THEIR lake.

I don't like the big waves. Actually I bet I hate it more than most people. I love to slalom. You know how hard it is to slalom on Lake Martin? You need water like glass for a good slalom run.

But you know what. I SUCK IT UP. Because it's THEIR lake to....

HOOSIERDADDY , am I looking at what time you posted right? Exactly what time of the day would be ok for this person to enjoy his ride . Were you about to get in your boat and ride . How many boats got destroyed?

So you give up something you like to do because it's THEIR lake, too.

Fair enough. But is it not YOUR lake, as well?

What have THEY done for YOU?

This is funny.... See I spent the night on my boat Friday night, went up to Sinclairs, and it was very cold, but most of all WINDY as all get outs. I don't remember seeing the water that choppy in a long time. Now, this is where I see the humor, hoosierdaddy wants to complain about the cruiser running through the bay on Saturday morning... Hoosier now could the wake of that cruiser have had anything to do with the white caps that were all over the lake this weekend. Trust me, I was in a boat, I personally know how choppy the lake was and how bad the wind was. So was it a pier crushing wake???? Or was it the rough lake???? I must admit, I am totally boggled here.

I'm totally boggled that you're willing to admit that you don't know the difference between Friday night and Saturday morning.

I'm not at all boggled that you don't know the differences between chop and rollers. That kind of unawareness is typical among the "I have a bigger boat, so get out of my way, you worthless losers" crowd.

First off, if you will read, my post states that I spent the night on the lake Friday night, which more than likely means that I was there Saturday morning as well. Especially since I mentioned "weekend" in the post as well. Before you basically call someone an idiot, why don't you learn to read. I don't think belittling me gave you any more strength, I realize that the law is out of my hands and what will become of this unruly madness is only controlled by the legislators of this state. In my post I was simply trying to express the fact that I was on the lake, I was in the water, and I know how rough the lake was, so that being said I was wondering how Hoosier knew it was the supposedly big wake from the boat or was it the rough water.
