I have lived in Alabama for 10 years, and have always heard how dominate the SEC is, against ALL conferences.... I will give you two wins today against the big 12, third team in the North division (Kansas State) and 5th team in the South Divison (Oklahoma State). We (both conferences) would both be better off if we scheduled each other EVERY year as season openers than the likes likes of (did I go there?) Appalachian State......
As per what really matters? BOOMER SOONERS!

I had planned to go to the game, but changed my mind and decided to watch it at home with my boys. Early in the 4th quarter I realized I was wearing my Cathouse Performance Marine T-shirt......realizing the obvious error, I quickly changed; Wow, that was close! As Paul Harvey would say, you know the rest of the story.
Congrats to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and LSU for great games.....it's going to be a wild season!......and how about them Jacket's?

I feel with a little tightening up and tweeking a few things Alabama might really have something going on this year. Just too bad that Motley is out for 6 to 8 weeks with that fractured ankle really missing him on defense. Kieth Brown really needs to step up his game when off of suspension or he is going to be replaced for good by McCoy, but Prince Hall was definitly missed on defense. Jimmie Johns, Grant and Upchurch really did a good job, but I felt Grant really stood out. Offense line is also looking a hell of a lot stronger. Overall not bad and its only going to get better.
