The Congress can't get out of its own way.  The Senate passed a bill that would give protection to the Supreme Court Justices in the wake of the Kavanaugh attempted murder.  So the House passed a bill that would give protection to the Supremes and members of their staff.  McConnell said the House Bill will not pass in the Senate, because they don't think unnamed staff "that no one knows" should get protection.  

Our Congress can no longer pass a simple Bill.  They can't compromise.  They can't get out of their own way.  Imagine if you were a Justice or a key staff member and you felt threatened, but could not get protection because Congress is bickering over competing bills.  We need to clean out both sides of Congress and get people that can pass a common sense test.

Typical.....SCOTUS justices are at risk and Democrats in the House want legal protection for all the staff.  Republicans say no. just pass a bill to protect the people that are at risk.  Media blames Republicans for delaying even though the delay was due to Dems wanting to add a bunch of garbage to the bill.  None of them look any good in this.

Two terms in Senate and “hit the road, Jack”.  Three terms in the House and “hit the road, Jill”.  No cross over allowed and elected idiots must move back to the State they came from!!
