I sunk an old refrigerator and an old engine block out in front of my house in about 16' of water and I can't keep folks from fishing over it. Have a little respect please!

Sorry, had to rant.

Tell me please how you sink something that has severl inches of styrofowm built into it's walls. I watched a redneck try that trick late one night when he was sure nobody was watching. He sank an old washing machine first. No Problem. Then he threw the refrigerator only to watch it bob around a while. We laughed for a cuople of hours watching him try to get it back onto the pontoon he had thrown it off of. He ended up towing it back to his house. I guess he was sure the nieghbors would have known it was him since it had spent a couple of years sitting outside by his peir.

Why are you putting your garbage in the lake (would be the first question coming to mind)??

the trick is to load that sucker up with concrete blocks, trust me it will sink like a rock. I have been fortunate over the years to come into twenty or so old refrigerators and I have them sunk all over the lake.

Makes a fine fish reef.

You made a reef in 16 feet of water in front of your house and you expect fisherman to stay away from it? Are you serious?!?! Thats hilarious. Cabo, you must be new to the fishing scene huh?

Looks like we have a confession to a Federal crime. I believe disposing of a refridgerator without first removing the FREON and oil and compressor is against the law and certainly not in the best interest of anyone that cares the least bit about the lake. Makes you wonder when they brag about it.

Be careful of what you say and do.
But if you set up a reef at your pier you can be sure some else will reap the benefits from it.
We have some of the worst fisherman around, they sit in front of you pier, hang their lures on your pier, umbrella, boat covers then rip them out or cut the fabric.
Way to go fishermen, I know your lures are more valuable than my boat cover.
Please be careful.

Thanks to Cabo for getting a conversation started... what is up with people who abuse their privileges on the lake to be rude to their neighbors? We all need to get a grip, even the fishermen. Rudeness is rudeness even if you have the right.

I had no idea. I was wondering what that oily film was in the water.

Next time I will be sure to drain it completely.

How can the fish stay alive when you shove your garbage in the lake? Did you finish 5th grade?

Cabo's mental problem goes somewhat beyond rudeness.

Ole Cabo has caught more than a stringer of fish with his refridgerator deal.
Can you say gullible city slickers?
