I wonder....did they forget to put the plug in....water should be up 3.5 ft. and is only up 4 inches. I hope that this year is not another Lake Lanier scenario.

Me and you, bro. One wonders, what's happening.

It does not appear to be the case since the level has come up .5 in the last week. Have you good folks had any decent rain in the basin in the last week or two. If not, then I think you have your explanation. Your bath tub or sink is not going to fill even with the plug in if your do not turn on the facet. Capisci?

Come back in early April and lets see if we have a problem.

Feb is right. It takes rain to fill up our little pond so . . .

Here are some suggestions on how we can all help increase the water level of lake martin:

Wash and wax your car.
Take the hard top of your car.
Pay for your wife to get her hair permed.
Invite the lads around for an all day Barbie.
Book a round of golf.
Decorate the outside of the house.
Do the weekly wash then hang it out in the morning.
Leave the skylights open to let a bit of fresh air in.

There are certain Mountain Men (a.k.a.- Lakeman) who drink directly from the lake. They carry a dipper in their boats. If you have to go then proceed to the bank as in Lake shore bank. The old Scrushy estate is a good spot. I also understand there maybe excess TP available. The Ridge also has some quaint spots. Trillium requires a deposit (sorry jlazc).
