me too. All I keep thinking about is how mussells are a filter. Then I think about all those thousands of swimmers each year that spend all day in the water.. and never come out to go potty.... yuck. No mussells for me.

Do you eat liver or oysters? Mussells are much like conch (a Carribean dish) - a little chewy.

Now that is a delicacy I haven't thought about in a while....... did you ever try the grilled version, where it was tenderized, mixed with butter, garlic, put in tin foil and put on a grill till done? Make you want to go back to the islands for a visit.
