I know this will make me look like a first class a`ss. But i wonder if the people I see in New Orleans have ever heard of birth control, every time the news shows a female their holding a child, not the same in other areas hit by the storm, Al.and Ms.

I think it would have something to do with money.
The same reason most got stuck there in the first place.

These people are in their current plight because they have continued to vote for incompetent thieves for the past 100 years. The politicians in N.O. and LA have stolen every penny put in front of them and could have built levees and pumping stations years ago. The FEDS didn't build those levees that failed nor did they run the pumping stations that didn't work most of the time.

The sub-culture (if you can call it that) of N.O. is what you see on TV. They're doing right now exactly what they've done for 100 years--wait on someone to hand them something for free. I listened to radio and TV stations begging these people to get out of town Sat and Sun before the storm--most left, but the ones you see didn't have the initiative to go. They could have WALKED to safety it they wanted to.

Yes, I feel sorry for the babies, but everyone needs to understand the whole story of New Orleans., There are people south the N. O. and on the Miss coast that have lost everything that must recover on their own--ADMIRE THEM--they don't feel sorry for themselves.
