What can they do short of building fences and barriers around the whole rock and stationing full time guards on the top? A no trespassing sign alone will not keep people off of the rock. They need something to back up the signs and stop anyone trying to sneak to the top, probably involving heavy fines and jail time. Otherwise they will need to build some sort of anti-diving barriers that people can't jump past or climb on. That might prove to be difficult, not to mention ugly.

....would be the warning and free them of liability (which I can't belive hasn't been an issue, yet).
Of course, the problem would be policing the area....and that's why it'll never happen.
When you hurl yourself off a cliff....well, you run the risk of something happening.

Correct, Russell owns it , that`s who built the bridge.and it is not Chimney Rock, it`s Acopoco Rock. And don`t give a bunch of crap about the spelling. It is very sad that someone died, and people still don`t get the message.It`s the same a jumping out of a good airplane, and hoping a Ambulance will be there when the paracute don`t open.
