One of the dam's hazard buoys has been washed up to the back side of Goat Island. Don't know who to report it to- thought I'd start with ya'll. Have a great day.

the buoy out in front of the sailing club pier is missing also. that is a bad spot if you are unfamiliar with lake.

Just to add to this. There is also a missing caution bouy on the East side of the Hwy 49 bridge right in front of Lakeside Marina. There is an unmarked rocky island sticking up. The bouy has been missing for about 1 month now. I hope no one hits this with their boat at night.

JIM.....I'm sure you'll correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think that the Marine Police have anything to do with the various buoys that are placed and maintained on the lake. As I have understood from posts over the years, the Lake Martin Resource Association takes care of this. Their contact number taken from a former post is 329-0835 ext 355.

a good job for this forum would be to organize help in replacing those lost or cut-up markers........
