Can't wait to see if it's true....Coach Spurrier! Good sources have the deal signed, sealed and delivered. With a crimson shirt and a big white "A" on the front he will win championships!!!

I don't see it happening!!! if so He will be gone as the rest of the good coaches in the past after three years. I just read a good book "old" but you could change the names and it would be the same story we are looking at today It is called BAMA after Bear. I have to say you could pick out at least four folks that keep coming up in the story that had a signicant impact then and today. Finebaum, Cecil Hurt, Lee Roy Jordon and Oliver. What an eye opening account of what went down and how it all fits together with what is going on today.

sounds like the same good sources that say they are taking the lake down an extra 20 feet to work on the dam every year............

I was very disappointed with the folks in charge when they let Shula go. But as most of the players said, they have to move on.

I've always been a very faithful Bama fan, but I cannot think of anything that would be harder than rooting for a team under the helm of Spurrier. ...just doesn't smell right.

Quite honestly, I have never, as you might say, liked Spurrier over the years. I have followed college football for more years than I would admit but truly feel he is the best coach there is in college football today. I, too, feel that Shula should have had more time to bring this team together. Frankly, I don't feel that Spurrier will leave SC but who knows? Money talks as always. As some of you know, I am an Auburn fan but also support Alabama. I just want them all to do well, not get hurt and enjoy their college life.
