drove down after work today. when we got on the outskirts of Alex City started seeing cars and people parked all along 280. flags flying, people in red white and blue. it was so awesome to see. for miles people were waiting on the 280 to see their loved ones coming back from the Iraq or Afghanistan. if anyone has more info on where OUR troops have been and how long they have been gone i would like to know. it truly was a beautiful sight! it was truly touching

I saw a long procession headed East on 280 with lights on as I drove to Sylacauga today. I thought it was in connection with the Harrelson kid's funeral. He was killed in Iraq....had his funeral today at the Dadeville Baptist Church...I believe the casket came down 280 from Alex City.
