Was sitting out on my deck Friday night gazing at the stars - nice night on the lake with very little moon. I was thinking about telescopes, and recall some post from a while back with recommendations for commercial models. So, here is the question - has anyone ever built a telescope? A quick web search will give you dozens of plans and advice, and it actually seems fairly easy. Does anyone have any practical experience making a scope?

If you just go to the dam and donate an anchor to the alien base they will be happy to give you a guided tour of the Milky Way Galaxy. I wanted to see Andromeda too, but they told me it costs extra so I didn't get to go there on my first trip. They will have you back exactly 62.34 seconds after you leave but it will seem like an overnighter to you so pack a lunch, cuz that green slime they live on tastes awful. And watch out for the one eyed ones, they are MEAN!
