Hey, no one told me that my property wouldn't be all nice and summer ready without me having to spend back breaking hours in the spring getting it that way. Oh wait, they did, but I didn't listen and still bought a lake place. :-)
I was admiring the water this weekend as I finally got around to mowing the last 2 weeks worth of weeds that sprouted out of no where and piling up tree scraps from the various storms, wishing I could put the 'toon in.
Alas, I opted for the yard work. Anyone ever notice how the yard work doesn't seem like as much "work" when you're admiring the water as compared to in town, admiring nothing? :-)
Maybe I'll get the boat in after the races are over.

You are so right Chris. A crappy day at the lake beats a great day in town anyday.
I hope you got it all done. I hired my son to do some this week while I travel.
