Yep, they are married. Actually they are on the way to Cathouse Marine now. We are finishing the engines in their Fountain. They opted for Supercharged EFI 496 Mag HO's. If all goes well, they will leave with it today, and we are all going to the coast tomarrow. I don't know when we are heading back that way, but it will be before summer is over.

I actually rode in the boat with my laptop hooked to it on the Alabama River Sunday afternoon. I was impressed with the power when we finished tuning and inspecting. I am thinking it will be a low to mid 90's boat when Kip gets his head out of his %&*$% and drives it like he stole it. LOL, it will be a nice package.

You have a Daytona, right? What kind of speeds do you run with it. I would imagine it can hit triple digits with ease.

That is a loaded question. When we go to the coast for poker runs, etc. We set it up to run around the 130mph range. Around here on our lakes and rivers, that would be insane. So we prop it differently, and change ECU calibrations. That makes it more managable, and much slower.

Thanks for the info. Now another question, on my stretch of lake down on Lay, on weekdays I don't see boats a good bit of the time, could you safely run 130 mph at a time like that or are the boats harder to control at high speeds. I have also visited sites researching the speeds of these boats and, for instance, Skater has a package where they claim to run in the 170 range straight from their factory. Any boats at these poker runs that attain that kind of speed?
