Here is how it works:

Tax business less, that makes them more competitive, that creates more jobs in the US. The company now makes more money and even at a lower percent pays more dollars. The additional people they employ also pay taxes, those people are now consumers and add to economic growth which adds local sales tax revenues and other business grow. As the companies are more profitable their stock prices go up and investors make more in capital gains and pay taxes on those gains. And yes the middle class wins as well because who does not have a 401K or an IRA.

Higher taxes on businesses, individuals and capital gains hurt the whole system.

I agree completely. Why cant this guy look at what caused the Great Depression? Taxing an already over taxed economy! And by the way, has BO BEEN PAYING EXTRA TAXES SINCE WE ARE SO UNDER TAXED?

You guys have all the answers. Explain the highest deficit in history under Bush??? The Republicans
have done a horrible job controling expenditures. Bush failed in business without his daddy or his daddy's buddies bailing him out and he failed our country. We are in horrible shape. I know Barney didn't help either. The country is ready for a CHANGE!!!!!

No, we need a balance. It wouldn't surprise me to see some Dems lose their races because of the Pelosi/Reid fiasco. I think you need that natural tension between Dems and Republicans. There are good people on both sides of the aisle.
