Here's one for you:

We are in our 5th summer at The Lake. Last weekend we had 7 college age kids in the boat. Trophy Husband had a real hard time getting the boat in the slip and on the lift. Our daughter piped up and said, "Dad, do you want me to sit next to you so the neighbors think you are teaching me how to dock the boat"? Classic!

betcha some of the old timers have a bad docking day every now and then...

... after 9 years, my whole neighborhood is posting to the forum....lol. I am on the Daine Dr. side of Lakeview Heights. Stop by and say hello sometime. I am the small house with the boat ramp (which any of you are welcome to use) next to the log cabin.

Wish I would have been at the lake this weekend to stop by and say hi. Looks like the weather is perfect. We had to go to Atlanta for the weekend.

We are on the unofficial road called Waverly Lane at the end of Natures Cove. We are on the skinny part of the slough but do look across the lake at the big houses they built a couple of years ago.

I know the place well. I tried to convince a couple of family members what a great buy that dirt was when Bunky first developed that S/D. At that time though, there was nothing across the water but trees. I am on Daine Dr., the 5th house. By water I am right next door to the log cabin. You are welcome to use my ramp any time you want/need. No need to hunt me down for permission each time. I try to keep it clear so that the neighbors can use it. I spent many years as a 'weekender' with only public access ramps and know what a pain it can be. If you don't need the ramp at least stop by and say hello.
