Went to L & L Oyster Bar at Holiday Shores on Route #34. Fabulous oysters and great hamburgers.

My husband and I tried the Grillin' Shack tonight. First it was so hot in there that everyone was fanning with menus and whatever they could find. I ordered ice tea with lemon. My husband wanted a ribeye without the marinade. The only other time we had been there, we told Mr. Eagle that we preferred the steak without marinade and he said that we could get it that way. The waitress brought the tea with no lemon. When I asked for it, she said that they had run out last night. As far as I am concerned someone should have made a trip to the grocery on their way to work. Then she told my husband that they do not serve steak without marinade. That was when we left and went to Christophers.

We went to the Grilling Shack Friday night with a party of six, 4 adults and 2 kids. Arrived about 6:30 and had no problem geting a table. Place starting flling up around 7pm but saw that most were seated quickly only afer a short wait. Steaks came out perfect as ordered. No need for any steak sauce. The owner John was making the rounds to each table ensuring that every thing was good and came around multiple times while we were there. The fall off the bone ribs are not on the main menu, but don't forget to ask for them. Best ribs I've had in a long time. Be back next weekend.

We actually ate at Christopher's Fri night and again for Sunday Brunch. (I have no connection with Christopher's except I enjoyed the meals and would like to see it have success)
Both meals were excellent.
We ate at Niffer's Sat night and rest was so hot we could not enjoy meal. We have been going there since it opened but will not go back unless A/C is fixed.
