We have been there numerous times...food and service OUTSTANDING...great wine list....beats every restaurant on or near the lake...well worth the 25 minute drive......

...old highway 280 in Waverly (towards Auburn)... about 7+ miles from County 34/280 East intersection...turn left at the Waverly Business District sign...it's the only business in Waverly...can't miss it....

Is there a dress code? By that I mean can one wear shorts and button up shirts?

Agree with all above. Food is very, very good. Yellowhammer is white table cloths, silverwear, and good bottle of wine. I wear slacks and a nice shirt and my wife dresses as appropriate for "going out to an upscale restaurant for a nice dinner".

Certain you will not be disappointed.

It looks like a very nice place. Thanks for the info. I found their website and posted their URL for anyone else interested in viewing the menu, etc.
