Anyone care to share details on "Stillwood" other than what they have on the website?

Just looking at the website photos, it appears that it’s one of the Blue Creek “let’s jam all the house we can with the least water frontage possible”.  Notice no lot dimensions were mentioned.  APC requires 100’/per individual dock, so that’s gone since they brag about boat storage and common dock.  Developers are maximizing profit, period.  Can’t imagine why those places sell….but they do!

Is it 10 lots off the water, 5 tiny lots on the water, and 8 normal lake lots?  23 total lots?

What I saw on the website shows 200 ft lots of about an acre each.  Same developer as Kennebec which has traditional lots.  I hope the jam 7 houses on one lot trend dies.  Power company really needs to use their dock regulation power to at least keep any type of high density developments spaced out for the sake of pollution and general safety on the water.

Hope you’re right on the larger lots…I missed that.  I heard that the APC development called Tallassee was also going to be “mini” lots….hate to see APC join the greed crowd for tiny lots.

I have read that this is what buyers want now - tiny lots with zero maintenence and that's why they are doing it.  It also nets more profit for the developer.  If people stopped buying mini-lots, the developers would stop offering them.

That’s easily understood, but consider how the overcrowding of the lake will decrease the value of the existing 7,500 homes on Lake Martin.  Why do you think we have all the ATL-hood people coming here, when they have multiple large lakes closer to da hood….Answer:  Because all their lakes are overcrowded, dangerous, and worthless.  We’re headed to the same mess…
