We have been carrying garbage back to Chambers Co. for eight years. My wife has said if you can afford a house on the lake you can afford garbage pickup. Any comments on the service would be appreciated. They were blasted on their own web site. Thanks

I have no problem with them, but then I don't have problems with ATT, Charter, or APCO, Russell Lands or any of the other vendors that seem to be thorns in the sides of the masses.
I am pretty happy with the politicians, cops, water patrol, my neighbors, their dogs, cats and kids.
I eat out a lot and have eaten at most of the local resturants. I have had the occasional bad meal, and bad service, but it is infrequent.
Maybe I am deluded and everything sux, so seek other opinions.

I used to have a place in Sandy Creek and used Sunflower. Really never had any problem with them. One word of caution - if its not in the container they provide, they won't pick it up.

I live on the lake full time and have them pick up my trash.
Generally speaking, they are okay. Sometimes they don't get the trash on the appointed day, but they seem to make it out on the next day. They will not pick up anything that isn't in a container, so if you have a large box or something, so have to break it down to the point it will go in the container.
When I first moved here, it seemed like it took them forever to drop off my container, and then had another round of calls to them to actually make a pick up. This may be because I am the only full time resident on my street. They are not terribly helpful on the phone, so make sure you are in a very patient mood when you call them.
