I currently have Comlink cable & Internet &  Windstream house phone; Windstream is offering a bundle for $95/month o[lifetime price] on all 3, but the cable aspect is DISH NETWORK; i have no experience with that--any input ?

I have windstream DSL and phone and have been happy; never had a problem. I also have Dish and it beats Comlink hands down for TV....I'm very happy with Dish.

go with the windstream bundle with dish. a lot more channels than comlink, better customer service and you still have your montgomery locals.

on current comlink cable, volume increases when a commercial comes on--very annoying--do es that also happen with dish ?

That's not the cable, it's the station. Some stations do it, and it will not make a difference how you have it delivered. As Larry said, make the change.... We both have the same set-up.

If you get Dish with a DVR, you can skip all the commercials....that's what we usually do for shows we follow.

I am still happy with Comlink for my TV / Cable Modem package.  Plus, I am not sure could ever get a straight southwest shot with a dish in the midst of my tall pines.  There are times when I think the internet line gets a bit slow but, as I have said on here many times, I am very pleased with their product and service.
