It is no secret we are in a real dry spell... just hope it's gonna rain soon. AND I sure hope APCO
is getting real stingy on releases from Lake Martin.... was it 2007 or 2008 that we had the water level disaster?

Without my sprinkler system, my yard would be gone. However, we are still about 8 feet ahead of 2007 and the water looks pretty good.....and in 2007 we also lost close to 4 feet in October.

I am shocked at how much  water we have, as dry as it has been. We are fortunate to have a supply to keep our yards green.

No doubt it has been dry for the last month or so but I think APCO has done a much better job of managing the lake level.  Just 3.5' below full pool unlike previous years when it dropped like a rock.  Sadly will probably need to pull the boat out soon anyway.  Sigh.......
