Talked with FERC guy in Washington today about the variance approval to raise the lake 3' now, so maybe the lake will fill this summer. He said, "Gee, I haven't been in the office all week, but Lake Martin is at the top of my 'to do' list. I'll get to it the first of next week." Honestly, what can we do? Maybe next week....

Our government, where this attitude and sense of urgency is the norm.....people complain about customer service in the real world, but at least we can make the choice to go somewhere else. Lets fire FERC, and start a competent and competitive regulatory agency.
