I have heard a rumor it will open soon as a BBQ place. The Lodge will open again also, but at much more reasonable prices.

Give him a little time.  Lake Cat City will expand down that way before too long

Paint it light grey, and call it the Ho's Hangout?

The restaurant has a bad floor plan, design & size that makes the logistics impossible. Years ago my company developed & rented a restaurant space in the Prado in Sandy Springs that was on 3 levels. It was called Daddy's Money and was run by very experienced successful folks. It failed. In the same center we rented to some young, inexperienced operators that had bought the rights from the namesake in New York. They opened up a restaurant that became a phenominal sucess. It was called....Fridays.

Should be opening up next month I think I heard. I know they have a wedding scheduled and all the rooms are taken for that.  Hear some rumors about the restaurant, but that is what they are, rumors.

Man I spent some fun nights in The Prado T.G.I. Fridays - many, many years ago.  As a matter of fact, I still have one of the hand printed menus done in a spiral notebook.  They were a work of art.......

We were probably chasing the same girlies. That bull pen around the bar was a young man's carousel.

The Fridays at the prado is now Seasons 5 Brewing, an organic steakhouse type of place. It is really good food and I think really successful. I had "heard" a mexican restaurant but I'm new to the lake so I assume anything I hear is nothing more than a rumor.

Isn't this the same owner as the Lake Martin Oyster Bar? It seems to be a great success. : )
