Watching Morning Joe --- Osama had been living in that compound for 6 years, under the knowledge of the Pakistani government. Of course, the President of Pakistan has denied it....
Apparently much of the tension about the mission in the SitROOM the other night was not just about what was going on in the compound, but about Pakistani forces who might try to come to his aid.
We've given that country millions of dollars in aid. If the US doesn't stop right now and rethink our policies about who we are giving money to and why......
Call me radical, but I think we should carpet bomb Pakistan and blow them to Allah. (this was the same country that danced in the streets on 9/11).
I've been to Pakistan and I can tell you first hand that there are no redeeming qualities about that country or it's people.

Pakistan has nukes which limits our options with them. But I like the way you are thinking. All the more reason to prevent Iran from getting them if we can.

John (traitor) Kerry was singing their praises last night, saying the Pakistan was so great to allow us to do the surveilance. I doubt they knew. As for the aid, the world HATES us. We can give them money and they will HATE us. I do not know all the humanitarian consequences of stopping aid, but I say shut it down. I am sure only a small percentage makes it to real needs anyway. We probably helped build the compound OhSammie was in.

On the news this morning, it was said that Pakistan didn't know anything about the raid. In fact, it was white knuckle time when Pakistani fighter jets scrambled and our helicopters had to get over the boarder in a hurry.
Said we didn't even tell Pakistan until the raid was over.

Reading between the lines, that says it all. We do not trust the Pakistani Govt. For public face, we may not admit we know they were shielding him. Gotta agree, time to cut the money flow. I am not so concerned about their nukes. While stabbing us in the back while protecting Q is one thing, using nukes and the retaliation that would incur is not a real option.

Hound has become a right wing "hawk." Jes kiddin Hound but, I do agree with you 100%; the funding has to stop. I just don't understand our thinking on funding, what are clearly, our enemies. I guess you have to be a Politician to understand that BS.

I've always been a hawk about certain things. I'm seriously in favor of kicking butt when our national security is threatened or our citizens are hurt/killed.
I really don't see how the Administration can turn the other cheek with this thing. Yes, I know that Afghanistan is a landlocked country and Pakistan has ports that we use for re-supply. Maybe it's just time to come home.
