Heard they serve breakfast. If there is anything that would make me a happy man, it would be a good breakfast place on my side of the Lake. Do they serve breakfast and, if so, has anybody tried it?

Yes- They do serve breakfast- No I have not tried it, but my wife and 2 guests
had dinner there and enjoyed. The women all had Baby Back Ribs and said they were very good. I had pulled pork and it was good(they do need a better sauce) Service was good and price was average. I will go back.

Great breakfast at a very reasonable price. One of the best omelets I've ever eaten. I agree that they need a better BBQ sauce on the meats.

I've always wondered why more BBQ places don't offer several choices when it comes to sauce; people are very different in what they like in flavor and spiciness, and it seems this would make a lot more folks happy. Personally, I like to mix it up a little with many flavors. At Buffalo Wild Wings, I get up to 6 different sauces on wing night.....if they can do it, why can't BBQ places do it too?

Haven't tried it. Had supper there, enjoyed it. Price seemed fair.  Will gladly go back every so often. Breakfast is menu.  I will try that soon.
Burts Stagecoach serves breakfast buffet, and will make biscuits on demand. They are good.  So we got two breakfast places to chose from.

Yesterday, found on Mike set up at the Opelika Farmers Market. He had his cooker going and was sampling ribs with his sauce. Stood back awhile, watched a really eclectic group of people sample, then buy 2,3,4 jars of the sauce. My son and I approached and introduced ourselves. I bought a bottle about a month ago, used it on some pulled pork and it is good. On the other hand, my son thought it was great. We wound up buying a couple of cases, one to split between town, tailgate, and the lake, another for one of the stores. Now, if we can just convince KA (not the frat) to setup at the rock, cook some ribs and give away cold beer.....

Mike needs to feed you're son more sauce. I bought a bottle yesterday (at Nails) and had to resist opening it up and taking a gulp.....It just looks so good sitting on the counter. My brother is coming to the lake tomorrow and we will use it Saturday when I cook on the BGE. More to come.

I have tried to meet with "Nick" and went to the "Soft opening". I have left him a sample and spoken several times with Ms. Wilson. I met Nicks brothers wife and she loved my sauce and told me that Nick would come to speak with me. But the Soft Opening was a little hectic and I guess he never got the chance. I certainly wouldn't want to compete with "his sauce" but I would love just to have it on the table as an option. Nick,,, if your reading this just give me the chance to sit down with you for 5 minutes and I think I can at least convince you that we'd both win by putting my sauce on your tables. Thanks. Mike Elliott

I honestly thought the prices were too high. But I don't live in the city, and I'm not used to paying the price that they ask for barbecue. Mike, good luck with the venture. Gonna get some of the sauce soon.

While supplies last, "MIKE ELLIOTS GRILLIN' SUACE" is FREE when you visit Cathouse Lake Martin. Really, it's free while supplies last.

You know you have to hand it to the guy. While he still hasn't figured out the right boundaries for a forum he has all the characteristics of a great salesman. I think I saw a dang bottle of the stuff on the Front Porch this morning. Maybe the mailman will show up today with a free sample..... Hey! I'll bet he could move a few boats for you too!!!
