Looks like the lake draining begins tomorrow. APCO starts running two turbines for four hours each afternoon which will cause the lake to fall rather quickly.

I thought we had a few weeks of lake fun left in the summer of 2011; guess I was wrong. The plug is being pulled and the lake will probably be dry by the 4th. Good thing we have the wix man to watch our @sses and keep us informed.....time to pack up and head somewhere else for the summer. To bad, because I was really looking forward to Aquapalooza. Anyone gonna try and come back next year?

Maybe you will have to put some wheels on that Bennington so you can continue your meet and greet different portions of the lake by land.

On another note, it is amazing what a little rain did for the water temp. It is SO refreshing, too bad it will be refreshing down stream now.

I know what you mean about the water temp ML....Liz and I went on the LM floating poker run with Larry and Pam yesterday and the water temps were very refreshing. Too bad it will all be gone soon.....maybe we can come visit y'all at the gulf condo in July. Hope you had a great Fathers day. BTW, save me some peppers; I'm craving another batch of ABT's.
