I remember all too well the hoopla around Fred Thompson and then watching him implode. I am waiting to hear more from Perry before I jump on board. I like Rubio a lot but he needs to stay where he is. We'd be way better off with a solid, conservative governor as VP.

FT had great messaging and seemed like he had to be dragged into the fray. Perry, on the other hand has been building a national organization since early March, yet not willing to jump in until a) the Texas budget was in place, b) he could size up the declared field c) offer Republican voters more than the others and d) get in it to win it. Rubio will be an effective conservative Senate leader. I agree with the desire to fill the VP slot with a credentialed conservative governor. I am just kinda smitten with Marco, who at this point has far more experience (discounting eloquent speeches) than the blamer in the white house.

OBlamer it is........can't wait for him to shift his attacks to Rick Perry. Can you see the chairman calling him out for leading an administration that creates jobs? Or balances a budget? Or reduces spending? Or improves educational results? Maybe he will try to pin him on his affiliation with the Dems? Or supporting Gore in 88? Or his administrations treatment of the alien invaders from south of the border? OBlamers attacks wil pretty much have to be based on Perrys knowledge of, and his interpretation of, the US Constitution. The chairman was reportedly a Constitutional law professor. I am willing to pay big money to see that debate.

God help us if Obama and Biden or Obama and anyone get back in.  Anyone else but Obama!
