If the rule curve plays true (and it usually does on the high side) this would be a great weekend to secure equipment for winter levels. Starting next week, the level should start dropping rapidly.....almost a foot per week if it follows the curve.

Any definite news on whether the winter level will be 3 ft higher? The rule line does not reflect this.

Lots more discussions to take place on that, and it would not go into effect until start of the new license period which is on out there, like 2013.

That's what I thought but lots of my lake neighbors are convinced it will be this year. But you know it's really only about 6 weeks that the water is real low under normal conditions.

sounds like you need to make a bet with your neighbors.......could be some easy money if you get them to bite. The new winter rule is still 2 years out and that depends on approval. There is always the chance that APC will request another waver due to drought, but even if they did that tomorrow we would still be 10' down by the time it was approved.
