I thought I had read somewhere that trout were not legal to use in Lake Martin, is this true?

I have done a lot of research on stripe fishing Martin and have never read anywhere that you can not use them. I do know that when you fish with trout you must have your receipt with you. If you are real concerned about it call the DNR. If they are illigal I'm going down with you because I love fishing with them.
