I have read some of the great stuff I missed lately. Hound as moderator was always a joke. A bad joke. She was given that privilege because her and her thin skinned husband have issues with being criticized, especially by me. she has threatened to stop participating in the past several times. Now that her toys have been taken away I bet she really does it this time. Gonna be interesting to see.

Only cuz her admin status has finally been revoked. She misused it for years against me, but she finally bullied the wrong member......lol.

But if you're gonna dish it out, ya have to be prepared to take it too. In recent years she has made many a disparaging posts about groups and individuals that are as bad as any that have ever been posted here, even resorting to name calling. I want her to stick around too. Her hippocracy and attempts at defending the defenseless are a great source of entertainment, for me anyway. That and they invoke MM to post and I enjoy reading his posts immensely. So much so I am going to convince him to move to the lake full time and run for governor!!

Look ... from a political point of view, there was plenty that Hound and I did not see eye to eye on. But I respected her point of view and many times made me think.
Her contributions to this forum were valuable. It is unfortunate what happened, and I am on the record that I would like to see her return.

Lifer, you took it to the extreme and at the time I was glad that Webmaster enlisted help in getting you under control. That being said, the recent series of events, especially with the deletion of MM's posts, made it clear that it was time to move on with a dfifferent paradigm - one that didn't include Hound being a moderator.

I also wish Hound would continue to contribute but her deletion of my posts, especially when I gave her a dose of her own medicine was a bridge too far for me. She has routinely accused others of being racists based on what they posted.
But when she lumped Herman Cain and Alan West together and asked "what is wrong with these people" I merely asked the question about the connection between the two and pointed out the only one I could see is both were black. She then denied even knowing Alan West was black which was totally laughable. She is way too informed and watches way to much pMSNBS for that to pass the laugh test.
And that is when, in my opinion, she abused her privilege as an administrator by deleting my posts. I frankly think she was embarrassed by what she posted and didn't want it sitting there. What is particularly ironic is I don't believe for a second she is racist or that her opposition to Alan West or Herman Cain have anything to do with them being black. But I was not going to let a gem of a faux pas slip by without giving her a taste of what she does to others on a routine basis.
And her assertion that all of the sudden the foum has gotten too nasty and she is no longer going to participate is also laughable. For 8 years she, Archie, GF and others dished on Bush in Cheney but for the last 3 1/2 years she has had to again experience her own medicine with the awful President she voted for. Perhaps she will someday return and I hope she does. But until then we always have GF to abuse and Archie sometimes drives by when a drop of good news appears in an ocean of Obama misery so we will be entertained.

Yes Hodja, I took it to the extreme. I didn't start the fights, I just finished them. I made my ammends (several times) to the regulars here. Did either one of them? No, cuz in their eyes they can do no wrong. They worked in DC ya know. And feb was in Veitnam.
I figured out she had moderator status years ago. She deleted NUMeROUS posts by me that were civil compared to others. She became a bully IMHO. I don't think she has the intestinal fortitude to stay and play without her delete button. Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt it.
