..all this other crap is readable in the absence of meaningful stuff...but what about Lakngulf's 'maters, the rains and water levels, McGill's BGE, CAT's Hose Hangout, twc on Logan Martin....and, oh yeah, what part of the world is Talisi in this week?? I'm tired of the whining too, Greg. As you can see, the lake is full! Thank you Mother Nature for a great mothers day weekend of rain. McKaygmc and the Mrs. were out doing a rain dance Saturday afternoon and it seems to have worked (mariah1 would have helped, but I think he fell asleep at the grill with a cold one in his hand) . Talisi just returned from the Gulf and should be home on the lake for awhile. Haven't stoked the BGE in 8 days because of Chris' adventure, did you hear about it? LnG came to see us while we spent a few days in Montgomery, but we didn't discuss Maters....how they doin' ML? Cat ditched me and a rib dinner on Thursday; he say's he took the hose hangout mobile, but I think he's skeered. ot and Bryan are on the lake full time now and commute to Sylacauga. Summer Place slackin' on the Tiki Bar and needs to get it up and running for the summer. Dang Yankee's foot healed so he can no longer play lakebum 7 days a week. Hmmm, there's more but I gotta get the trailer packed again to move the last of my daughters stuff (twc has volunteered to help on the other end in Pell City, but there isn't too much left). Whats everyone doing this weekend? Maybe we need to do a float-up Saturday....Maybe the Tiki Bar will be open?....Lets get the summer started!

Foot,, If LNG's Blue Hydrangea shining on the bulkhead are any indication, the Maters will be there in late June as usual. Book it. Done deal. I can see them from across the creek at maybe a mile even in dim light.
We had guests this past weekend, and plans to go boating, sunbathing, etc,. outside. The rain stopped that. Instead, we sat in rockers on the porch and watched rain march from the SW across LNG's roof, across Parker Creek, and on to Wind Creek. We toasted each rain shower with a glass of Vino Especiale.
Rant/Bitch/Rail/Grumble/Gripe,,, all you want. But from my porch to yours, WE got a Very Special Place on Earth!!

Thanks, Mack. The hydrangheas are at the top of their game right now. They have really enjoyed these warm showers. Anyone out boating this way be sure to cruise by and check them out. Them, maybe we will have maters later on.
Mrs. LnG and I did have some fried green tomatoes last week, along with fresh green beans. I guess Tarpon and Feb have done a good job protecting the garden, but I do see some squirrels licking their chops waiting for red tomatoes.

I've been working too much. Haven't even been down to the new pier after I got it finished. Beats un-employment tho.
I'll be around the weekend if you need help McGill. Help or supervision, just yell.
