Of course those of us that follow this closely have known that unemployment has never been below 8% since TOTUS took office but the books were cooked in the last few months to facilitate his reelection. Well now he is freed from having to run for office and can now show us what his idea of flexibility will give the country. And those that voted for him in droves will be hurt the most and I longer have an ounce of sympathy for them.
You gave us four more years of this pathetic failure so now you own it.......enjoy eating that crap pie........

Read the BLS report a little closer and you will find the little noticed fact that 350K people dropped out of the labor force just last month. Magic, unemployment drops and happy days are here again. How can anyone look at this chart and come to the conclusion that Obama's policys are working for middle class America. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

As is typical when you and your followers make some outrageous claim I will not be holding my breath!! It is a FACT that the government sector continues to shed job month after month while the private sector has gained jobs every single month far over 3 years now. AND (I know you really really hate this) THERE ARE MORE THAN 1,000,000 MORE PEOPLE PICKING UP A CHECK TODAY THAN THER WERE 3 YEARS AGO. To be sure gaining 146,000 is not as good as, those of us who actually want the economy to boom, would hope to see, but it is one he// of a lot better than losing 750,000 a month as was the most recent tradition when those who think like you called the shots (YOU ARE CORRECT...I AM BLAMING THE MAN I STUPIDLY VOTED FOR IN 2004). Now kindly stick your head back in the sand where it belongs.

Even GF will tell you that I rarely make an error on a fact. It does happen, but rarely. The number came from the Bureau of Labor Statistics you dimwit. Which in case you didnt know is a government agency itself.

Here's a hint, examine the number of people in the last four years that have left the job market altogether. Look at the labor participation rate compared to when TOTUS took office. Count the numbers. Only a left wing nut would celebrate adding a million jobs while many more millions give up ever finding a job. Look at the U6 numbers and let me know what you think now...if you have even a shred of intellectual honesty, which I seriously doubt.

Nice try...but biased interpretations (misinterpretation?) of "statistics" from a proudly biased source is not VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE!!.. Each month the BLS, an unbiased source whether you conspiracy nuts believe it or not, gives the stats that matter...the net gain in non-farm jobs from both public and private sector and almost every month for the last 37 months the public sector has decreased and the private sector increased. Now on a less frequent basis the BLS will present estimates of the total number of jobs in each sector at that moment in time. The two sets of statistics are NOT directly related. Now for your arithmetic lesson...explain how if the public sector jobs decreased in at 4 of the last 5 months (reference BLS not CNS) while the private sector jobs increased, how is it mathematically possible for the public sector to make up 73% of the new jobs? Well, actually it is "possible" but very very unlikely and I assure you that over the last 5 months that unlikely event did not occur. Get CNS to explain it to you!

Methinks it is apples and oranges but I can't figure out exactly why. Went to BLS and the author's numbers are correct and his math is correct. And yet BLS does not show the net increase in govt jobs in the report Archie referenced. According to the total employment numbers from June govt jobs did indeed account for 73% of the total change since June. But that does not jibe with the numbers Archie found at BLS that describes the change on a month by month basis.
Archie gets partial credit for stumping me on this apparent contradiction. If the BLS total employment numbers represent something other than what they seem to be then Archie will have proven that in fact even a blind squirrel does find an acorn every now and then. If the author and my interpretation of the numbers end up being wrong then Archie has something else to crow about.....oh wait a second, he has already crowed even though he has not explained the discrepancy between the numbers, just found ones he likes and says they are more true.
No more time to sort this out today as I have to get my house ready for my office Christmas party. And yes, it is a Christmas party and everyone is invited, Jews, Muslims, agnostics, atheists, Mormans, etc., but it is still a Christmas party. Oh sorry, I forgot Kwanza.....
