Last night we arrived @ 5:30 by boat. No one greeted us. We decided to seat ourselves and wiped down table & chairs. This included cleaning off the bird droppings. A waitress 5 feet away watched us do this and never said a word. After a few minutes of not seeing any staff we departed for Kowaliga where we greeted by attentive staff and
experienced one of the best meals we have had on the lake. Apparently Harbor Docks did not need our $$$.

I have to say my recent experiences have been the exact opposite. I've been to Kowliga's three times, and have had bad service and average food. All my experiences with Harbor Docks have been very positive. Just my 2 cents.

This is a forum. Anyone can comment as long as it is civil. You did, fine. However, I think it is really a stretch on your part to refer to those remarks as constructive criticism. No, they were not that.
Harbor Docks is not perfect. It is a local restaurant which is trying to make it. On the whole, I enjoy their atmosphere and food. For me, the service ranges from good to very good. I will continue to go because I want to and I also want them to succeed. I think it is important for our lake community. When they mess up, I prefer to let them know it in person. That is my version of constructive criticism.

The forum members here just keep on surprising me (Not)! Instead of welcoming a new forum member, the members here continue to treat newcomers with hatred, the exact same way I was treated when as a new advertiser here, I was blasted for introducing myself and my business to the lake. I am a quick learner and realized I had wasted my money. So I am not surprised to see the members question Centerpleasures intent on the post instead of welcoming a new member. Notice even after the owner of the establishment responded, nobody has yet to welcome them here. So

We were eating inside when you pulled up, so I can attest that you did pull up and leave after a few minutes. Never saw you come inside. Wondered why you left so fast. We had a great meal and very good service. Will go back.
