This is where I grew up and the economic shambles left by the worthless peanut farmer Jimmy Carter is etched in my brain.  Glad to see some good news and am amazed at the source of the article which is not exactly a right wing rag.  Of course with the drop in oil prices the good times may be tampered a bit.

I can see why you moved South. I grew up in CT and found the city depressing in the colder weather. As people age, they move to a warmer climate which happens to be in the red states. It is not really too complicated. Florida attracts the smart ones as it has no income tax.

Got the tools, paper, and method to mirror the black gelcoat, but boat is not finished as of yet.  Test spot acceptable.

Wet sanding covers you in water.  A bit chilly right now.

Shifting interest to talking around the world by stringing wire in the trees.

I wonder if fracking really destroys the drinking water?

I wonder if oil stays low, what will happen to the people involved in loaning/borrowing money to extract sand or shale oil

based on profitability linked to the then higher oil prices?

My 2M  is up and running,  HF is almost working, good for receive now.  Just about to do final trim for SWR on HF 80 40 20 fan dipole

My first AF assignment in Turkey in 1968 I had an HF radio station.....those guys were magicians at understanding SSB gibberish....certainly takes a special ear....good luck with your endeavor...you can talk to some really distant stations, given the right atmospheric conditions!

I read an article opining that the goal of the Saudi's is for the lenders focused on fracking exploration to take a severe beating so they will dry up this source of funding.  Pretty smart move.
