My wife and I went into Dadeville and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, "come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?" He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him an "moron." He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires. So Shirley (my wife) called him a "$#*%head." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. He finally finished, sneered at us and walked away.

Just then our shortbus arrived, and we went home. We always look for cars with Obama stickers. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It’s so important at our age!

VERY funny.   A story about abusing a cop while managing to put the cost of your joke on an innocent by-stander.   Please retire somewhere else.

I hope that he is just bored and made up this story for entertainment.  Because I would hate to think that two adults would do something so incredibly stupid in real life.

You made my day Shortbus. Saw that happening, didn't realize it was you. Laughed and chuckled all the way to Auburn, then laughed hard as I tried to repeat the story to some friends. Laughing again at the predictable respondents expected responses.

Better watch out shortbus, get them ticked off and you my see the LEO speak into his microphone as he/she is backing away.  At best they will dispatch a helicopter to hunt you down, worst case you would have a drone comin' to visit.  Besides, learn something from Chris Rock...  Warning - NSFW, rated R, but funny and some dang good advice.

If indeed they did, I would not characterize it as stupid.  Creative, maybe mean spirited, but not stupid.  If the car belonged to GF I would characterize it as magnificent...lol

And if you believe that one, I've got another whopper about an airliner hitting the Pentagon....................................

Sorry, I just don't see the humor in this.  Harassing law enforcement, while creating a bad situation for someone else is just mean spirited and stupid behavior for adults.  Nothing creative about it.  I don't think you would find it humorous Hodja, if you were the law enforcement person trying to do their job; or if you were the victim of this kind of prank.

Yes, that was hugely funny too.  Especially for my former colleague who lost his brother that day; and his sister-in-law and their children who waited in vain to hear from him that day.

Do Dadeville police even write parking tickets?
