It is stipulated that they invest it with Barney Frank for Sleazy Mack and Sleazy Mae.  There they will lose 80% and still have enough to pay for the Wall.

He's going to have to make a lot of cuts to fund the plus up for Defense.  I am assuming that these 10 years of war have left us needing to replace and overhaul a lot of our equipment.  I assume we will see an additional plus up to Energy, since they control the Nukes.

Today he cancelled the Clean Water Act.  I wish I understood more about what this covers, because I would hate to think we would end up with companies dumping chemicals into the water and possibly into the ground water.  I don't know about the EPA, and to what extent their regulations and legislation is over-reach.  But I would hate to think that we would end up with a huge pollution problem in our water.

Hound, Trump didn't cancel the Clean Water Act.  It continues in full effect.  What happened under Obama is the EPA unilaterally and without proper congressional approval essentially modifed the CWA to wildly and ridiculously expand the definition of the term "Waters of the State" to the point that they could claim a mud puddle in your yard fell into the definition (a bit of an exeraggation but not much). But it did capture drainage ditches that only had water when it rained and other ridiculous stuff that no reasonable person would consider a waterway or aquatic habitat.  Once any conveyance falls within the definition of waters of the state all CWA requirements are active which is not only ridiculous but is a tremedous burden on property owners, developers and private citizens for zero benefit.

But take heart, industrial companies that discharge treated wastewater and stormwater, property development companies, etc. still have to comply with their permits and still have to meet the waterwater and stormwater discharge limits and other CWA requirements.  This is just more fake news that Trump is railing against, and rightly so.

Thanks for the clarification.  I am woefully ignorant on these things and really need to pull up the regulations and legislation and read them.

Well we are 15 days away from the government locking up solid on its ability to pay its bills.

Haven't heard a thing about it yet.  Kicking the can will be interesting under Trump.

I tend to believe Stockman and Laffer.

Appreciate the meaningful information you provided. With nothing but "fake" news coming from the media, how can this country move forward in the drive to bring America back from the last eight years of failure. I watched last night as the Democrats sat like "robots" failing to support anything in President Trump's plan to make America Great Again. It was sickening. The only moves they are concerned with is trying to find a way to impeach President Trump. There should be a way to take each one of them "individually" and ask them if they support "each" one of the objectives set forth by President Trump. If they say "no", they should be "KICKED" out of office and tried for "treason".

No problem and am glad to clarify.  Better have lots of strong coffee if you want to read the CWA as it is the usual lawyer crap trying to write a law based on science.  The real key to the CWA (which was passed under Nixon) is the underlying regulations which you can find in the CFRs.  The section that the waters of the state nonsense applied to was 404, which is the permitting portion.  Either way, there is no change to the sections that cover wastewater and stormwater discharges.  Those are pretty well accepted and complied with except in upset circumstances.  Very costly but necessary and the results have been very positive.

Take comfort in the fact that as they move further leftward they will be further marginalized.  Just look at who is heading the DNC.  Two far left individuals, one a Clinton supporter and the other a Bernie supporter.  They appear to be doubling down on dividing Americans into race, gender, sexual orientation and will get what they deserve from this strategy.  Part of the problem is that most of those remaining Democrats are in safe seats and won't be punished for their views.  The others have already been replaced by Republicans and as long as nothing dramatic happens between now and 2018 I suspect it will get even worse.  But never underestimate the GOP's ability to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.  They need to move on many of their promises.

You summed it up very well. It all boils down to keeping the pedal to the metal and the people of our great country are able to see that President Trump's main objective is to provide us with the leadership and services that are set forth in the Constitution. Hopefully those Democrats who are doing nothing but creating havoc and are betraying their constituents but waiting to receive their retirement will pay the price when their term limit expires. Let's keep working to "Make America Great Again.

One of the biggest problems with voters is short memories.  The further something bad happens from election time its like it does not exist.

Just ask Bush 41.  If the election had been held a year earlier, he would have had a 2nd term.  But a year later and people forgot the 1st Gulf War and were focused on the economy.
