Oh my.......scathing report from the NY AG office that Cuomo is quite the pervert and a serial sexual harraser that violated state and Federal law.  Below is the Exec Summary.  The list of allegations is like 6 pages long.  Apparently the Guv was video interviewed for 11 hours and was quite testy being called on the carpet for this illegal and unbecoming conduct.  Methinks this is why his star has fallen and why he decided not to run for President.  Will this end his career in gov't like it would any Republican?  I doubt it given he is a Democrat, where sexual harrassment is a resume enhancer.  Ironic if it does given the guy was responsible for the deaths of 10,000 senior citizens in his state and not only got away with it, but made millions on a book deal.

We, the investigators appointed to conduct an investigation into allegations of sexualharassment by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, conclude that the Governor engaged in conduct constituting sexual harassment under federal and New York State law. Specifically, we find that the Governor sexually harassed a number of current and former New York State employees by, among other things, engaging in unwelcome and nonconsensual touching, as well as making numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that created a hostile work environment for women. Our investigation revealed that the Governor’s sexually harassing behavior was not limited to members of his own staff, but extended to other State employees, including a State Trooper on his protective detail and members of the public. We also conclude that the Executive Chamber’s culture—one filled with fear and intimidation, while at the samet ime normalizing the Governor’s frequent flirtations and gender-based comments—contributedt o the conditions that allowed the sexual harassment to occur and persist. That culture also influenced the improper and inadequate ways in which the Executive Chamber has responded to allegations of harassment.

Let me say, up front, that I DO NOT like Cuomo.  But once again, I read the allegations against him and it makes me wonder.  Was the "touching" akin to grabbing at a woman's breast or her private parts, or was this just rubbing her shoulder?  Show me the work place where there isn't an amount of innocent flirting or some kind of sexual innuendo  in terms of jokes or quips.  

These things were so common when I was a young woman coming up in the workplace.  And nobody thought anything of it.  I was sexually harassed by two of my bosses along the way, and believe me, I knew it and it made me very uncomfortable.  It was a different thing entirely.  

When I see these kinds of reports, I think they lack context as to what was considered normal or acceptable at the time they occured.  I think it would be very bad for women if men became afraid to work with women for fear they woud be accuse of sexual harassment.  Women know when it crosses the line.

At one point, I knew a man that was removed from his job for the claims of 3 women who claimed he inappropriately touched himself in meetings.  He was pretty well crusified career-wise and reputation-wise.  They did an investigaion and finally one of the women admitted that the three of them had cooked this thing up - because one of the women was sure if he was removed, her husband would be promoted into the job.  Yes, it all came out, but by that time the damage had been done.  

So while I dislike Cuomo and would like to see him out of office, when I hear claims of sexual harassment, I confess I am skeptical, particularly when it relates to politics and the ME Too movement.

But this is the world the left has given us and in that world what he is accused of doing would get him terminated from pretty much any company in America, get him cancelled by every women's rights group and so on. 

Read the report though because while some of the allegations are for boorish behavior, a lot of it is downright illegal according to sexual harrassment laws, which is what they found.  Had this been one woman or a one time thing it would have gone nowhere.  But it is multiple women with no apparent axe to grind and they way they were treated after making complaints is beyond the pale.  In a sane world he would be forced to resign in disgrace.  He won't.....but he should.  And he won't primarily because he lacks the scruples and character and secondarily because he is a Democrat and the media will give him a pass.

Two things here Goofy. One, why does everything with you always Trump, Trump, Trump ad infinitum?  Two, I suggest you go back to the transcript of what he actually said before posting more nonsense.  He never said he did this, he simply said that celebrity status allows people to get away with this kind of behavior.  Obnoxious?  Yep.  Saying he did this?  Not even close.

But do try to not make everything you post about Trump.....I know how difficult it is given your mental illness.  This is about the pervert Guv that sexually harrassed a multitude of women as documented in the report from the NY AG's office, how he retaliated against the women that expressed their concern about his behavior and now about the cringe-worthy response by his team accusing them of lying and showing a montage of videos of him doing this over and over, as if that is exculpatory. 

My guess is he will take the black-face Northram approach and ride out the news cycle.  Expect the ADHD media to move onto to something new in three, two, one......

When have I ever defended Trump's personal behavior?  Hint....never.  As I mentioned any number of times I did not vote for him in the primary...he was actually very near the bottom and only above the silly RINOs who never had a chance.  The reality is that his obnoxious and morally compromised personal history was baked into the cake.  People knew about his personal foibles but when faced with a binary choice between a morally compromised, unkown commodity (Trump) and a thoroughly incompetent, corrupt, unlikable and morally compromised candidate (Shrillery) it was a no brainer.  Likewise in 2020 it was a binary choice, this time with a senile old man and an incompetent, unlikable and morally compromised VP.  Except this time we saw that Trump actually followed through with many of his campaign promises and was far more conservative than even I had imagined was possible.

Let me educate you because you seem fixated on only one issue but there were many more.

1. He secured our border and enforced the laws against illegal immigration.

2. He made tons of appointments of originalists to the courts at all levels.

3. He recognized China as the threat it is, including their abhorrant actions regarding the ChiCom virus.

4. He supported our military and increased their funding.

5.  He isn't a woke SJW.

6. He opposed the neo-Marxist BLM and Antifa thugs.

7. He supports our police.

8. He loves this country and while recognizing we are imperfect, he understands it is the greatest in human history.

9. He was remarkably pro life and actually acted on it.

10. He supported the American worker and brought manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.

11. He got the bureaucrats at the FDA and CDC out of the way and allowed for development of vaccines to combat COVID in record time.

12. He facilitated improved relations between a number of Arab states and Israel.

13. He unleashed the American economy that was on a tremendously positive trajectory after 8 years of malaise and reduced minority unemployment to record lows.

14. He allowed domestic oil exploration, especially fracking, to make us energy independent and a net exporter.

15. He renegotiated and got rid of NAFTA which was a terrible deal for U.S. workers.

16.  He exited the Paris Climate Accord and the Iran Nuclear Deal, both of which were a travesty.

17. He supported religious liberty and the right of any American to follow their conscience.

18. He destroyed the ISIS caliph and exited Syria.

I could literally go all day long with reasons I supported him in 2020 along with 70+ million other Americans, many of whom share my disdain for his personal history.  But we understand we are not electing a pastor, we are electing someone to lead the Executive Branch that shares our political, economic and social views.  If he were a saint in his personal life, all the better.  But such was not the case.

Not surprised.....the thing is I totally get that they would not view many of these as positive which is a fine reason not to vote for Trump.  But for those of us that agree with these policies and accomplishments it is a fine reason to vote for him despite his personal failings. 

The main difference is that we freely admit Trump is a flawed man.  The left are so ideologically blinded that they can never admit that someone like Shrillery is an incompetent, unlikable, corrupt and nasty person but they are voting for because they like her policy positions.  Or Biden is a senile, corrupt, incompetent moron but they like his policies so they will vote for him anyway.  Nope.....they put politicians that are on their side of the ideological aisle onto a pedestal and treat them like a diety because politics is their religion.  That's why they never understood how people of faith could support Trump...and they never will.
