Yes we agree that your advice is "sick"

Maybe do some research on the "horse pills" that won a major award for its treatment of humans .....

If you check the 2nd link not only does the nih.gov site specifically reference Covid-19, it indates it found notable reductions in covid-19 fatalities - dont have to even read deep into it, the abstract pretty much covers it.

Glad to know you support having people suffer needlessly and die because you want to look at a drug as if it is only used for a horse. It is also used for heartworms in cats and dogs, and has been used on human since the 80s.  Funny how sometimes when I get a prescription from the vet I take it to the local CVS to get it filled, while it is usually put in a blue bottle and has a label for pet use - it is the same thing that they would fill for me or you including most antibiotics and many pain meds.

Hopefully in the future you will do some research and make sure as you get older and approach your expiration date and need some drugs that you make 100% sure that they are never used for pets or farm animals and refuse to take them.  I have a feeling that you will not and will look forward to medications to help you feel better, something that you want to deny others if their doctors approve prescriptions for them.

Goofy, even though I already know the answer...did you even bother to look up this study or gasp.....actually read it?  I know.....you didn't.  A slew of interesting factoids about this "study" in Nigeria (probably funded by one of the Princes that keep sending me emails but never seem to send me the cash). Nope, like many left wing nuts you copied and pasted an article from some idiot reporter who lacks even a basic understanding of science but does know how to get clicks from morons like you.

One, the study was not peer reviewed nor was it published in a respected scientific or medical journal. In fact there is some question about whether it was published in any journal as it was supposedly published in 2002 in a journal that didn't start publication until 2003.

Two, the study indeed started with 385 men that were treated for river blindness using Ivermectin.  However, if you look at the study you will see that 338 of the 385 patients were removed from the Ivermectin study due to....you got it.....low sperm counts.  So only 37 or 9.6% of the total were evaluated.  That is hardly a large enough population to conclude anything.

Three, to say this paper lacks scientific rigor would be a gross understatement.  There was no control group so they literally do not know if the Ivermectin was the cause or the river blindness or other factors.  They did not evaluate whether the findings continued over time or abated.  There were no limitations presented which is essential to any scientific paper in order for it to be peer reviewed and confirmed with other studies. It was filled with typos indicating a lack of quality and intellectual rigor.  And it has never been confirmed by any other scientific study in the almost 20 years since it was published.

Four, the treatment for river blindness using Ivermectin lasts almost a year.  Treatment for Covid using Ivermectin lasts a few days and at much lower dosages.  Hardly comparable, even if correct.

Five, Ivermectin, along with HCQ, is on the WHO's list of Essential Medicines.  It is prescribed in the U.S. over a hundred thousand times per year and is FDA approved.  I think we can safely say that if this were true it would not be celebrated, used and approved.  So the issue is not whether it is a safe drug...it is when used in proper dosages.  The question is whether it is FDA approved to treat Covid and the answer is no.  Nor will it be until the current vaccines are FDA approved as having an FDA-approved treatment for Covid would immediately void the Emergency Use Authorization of all the rMNA gene therapies masquerading as vaccines.

Oh, and not that I find them terribly credible given their obvious left wing perspective, even Snopes have called into question whether this study is credible.  To me that is proof positive it is absolute garbage because Snopes would have loved nothing more than to say it is a reliable study.  But even they couldn't hold their noses and lie about this so-called study on Ivermectin and male fertility.  I keep saying this Goofy, you absolutely deserve a refund of every penny paid for your govt school education.  As RFK, Jr. said, this pandemic has obliterated critical thinking....not that you had much of that before it started.

Guess by GFY's logic , The Biden administration is making all those Afganastan people that fled take horse pills to stop them from having children when they come to the US.  So which is it GFY - is Biden a racist who is trying to keep them from having children?  Is Biden a idiot for forcing these people to take "horse pills"? Why would Biden force people to take this if they are so harmful?

I am sure if you get your brain out of park you can probably come up with the answer - either the drugs are not as harmful as are being portrayed, or Biden should be tried for crimes against humanity for doping humans with horrific animal drugs - which is it???????

While these recommendations have been implemented in many overseas sites, logistical and procurement issues still limit their full implementation in some. All Middle Eastern, Asian, North African, Latin American, and Caribbean refugees should receive presumptive therapy with:

All Middle Eastern, Asian, North African, Latin American, and Caribbean refugees should receive presumptive therapy with:
Albendazole, single dose of 400 mg (200 mg for children 12-23 months)
AND
Ivermectin, two doses 200 mcg/Kg orally once a day for 2 days before departure to the United States.
All African refugees who did not originate from or reside in countries where Loa loa infection is endemic (Box 1) should receive presumptive therapy with:
Albendazole, single dose of 400 mg (200 mg for children 12-23 months)
AND
Ivermectin, two doses 200 mcg/Kg orally once a day for 2 days
AND
Praziquantel, 40 mg/kg, which may be divided in two doses before refugees depart for the United States.
All sub-Saharan African refugees who originated from or resided in countries where Loa loa infection is endemic (Box 1) should receive presumptive therapy with:
Albendazole, single dose of 400 mg (200 mg for children 12-23 months)
AND
Praziquantel, 40 mg/kg, which may be divided in two doses before departure to the United States.
Refugees from Loa loa-endemic countries (Box 1) in Africa should not receive presumptive ivermectin for strongyloidiasis prior to departure. Management of Strongyloides should be deferred until arrival in the United States, unless Loa loa is excluded by reviewing a daytime (10 AM to 2 PM) Giemsa-stained blood smear. Deferral of treatment for Strongyloides until after the refugee arrives in the United States is acceptable. Guidance is available for management of Strongyloides following arrival in the United States in the Domestic Intestinal Parasite Screening Guidance.

I guess maybe Dementia Joe doesn't want them dark-skinned foreigners breeding when they get here.  The reality is that this study is pure junk and there is no evidence that Ivermectin causes male sterility when given in proper dosages for human consumption.  I have a prescription myself and have looked at the side effects and there is no indication about reduced sperm count.

On a side note, Ivermectin for horses is usually prescribed as a paste, not pills.  But when Goofy wants to be wrong, he goes all in and gets almost nothing right.  In this case it was literally nothing.....which is not unusual for him.  I would love to see the CV for the moron at this El Paso news outlet that posted this garbage study.  I am betting they even got a C- in their one science elective.

That would be suprising since Joe could have a whole new crop of kids to sniff and grope.  Not sure if GFY actually belives what he posts or just thinks that it is funny (at least from his perspective).

Well that didn't take long......no surprise given the comments I made about the Nigerian Prince study of 37 guys with river blindness.  When you've lost Snopes you know you need to pack it in.  Sadly, this will make the rounds of left wing nut morons and is probably already trending on Twitter.....wonder if they'll remove it for false information?  HAHAHAHAHA...what am I saying?!?!?  Of course they won't....

Phil, it looks to me like the immigrants are being wormed upon arrival.  Makes sense to me….horse, cow, donkey, immigrant!

There's a reason I call him Goofy.  A term of endearment and an accurate descriptor at the same time.

It makes sense coming from the racist, xenophobe Biden.

I congratulate you two on your ability to deftly critique the so called "scientific literature" that Fish and Archie occasionally throw our way.  This paper had plenty of holes in it, and Fish should have learned by now the first rule of holes..........when in one, quit digging.

The really sad part is that had he spent no more than 5 minutes of research he could have avoided the humiliation.  I have long believed Goofy likes to look silly and this yet another example.  This is probably the worst example of scientific research, not just due to the lack of rigor or following even basic principles of research but also the certainty of their conclusions.  All based on 37 people.  Like I said, funded by Nigerian Princes.

I think he is one of those who gets off on the public humilation - I think he is a maschist and its easier to get his gratification from humilation on the internet and strangers then risk having his kink known by people around him.

Reminds me of the old saw, "Beat me, beat me" says the masochist.  "No!" says the sadist.  Apparently I am not a sadist because I love to beat Goofy, and do so fairly regularly.  He seems to have gone a bit quiet on this thread.  Probably combing the internet for something else stupid enough to post and take another thrashing.

webpage updated -  ROFLMAO indeed!!!!!!

FOR THE RECORD: A national story regarding Ivermectin and a study regarding its effect on men’s reproductive health that KTSM published, has been removed from our website.

Concerns over the scientific research methods, the veracity of the original, peer-reviewed report and public statements by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) saying that infertility is not a known side effect of Ivermectin all led to our editorial decision to remove the story.

GFY thought peer reviewed was that he had to look over his glasses at his screen.
