When faced with the disaster in Afghanistan, inflation, border crisis, high gas prices, lousy jobs numbers and all the other evidence that he is a senile old fool whoever is running him had a great idea.  Go back against everything you've said in the past and use some unconstitutional phony emergency authority to mandate masks and threaten the livelihood of 80 million Americans.  That will get the focus off his disasters and onto something that will eventually go nowhere.  

Gotta give em credit for throwing out the right catnip to change the subject.  Given the totalitarian tendencies of the left and the desire of the vaccinated to be justified in their personal health care decision I am going to predict his current 39% approval rating to rise.....until the next disaster.  Interesting that his plans for a grand celebration of getting out of Afghanistan during the 9/11 20th anniversary has now been replaced with this nonsense.  Shows you just how bad things are for this administration that they had to resort to this desperation move.  Had they been mildly competent they might have had something positive happen on the anniversary instead of yet another political firestorm.

I think you are right about the political move and his new "instructions" about vaccines.  Truth is, I don't think most of will stand up in court and I expect most of it to be blocked.  As much as I believe in the vaccine and would like everyone who can to take it, I don't think force is the way to go about it.  I think this looks very ham-fisted.  When it fails, he'll blame the courts.

Several issues even if any right to order vaccine or test

1. Why test just the vaxed. They can come to work and spread virus.

2. What about those with more antibodies to fight virus than vaxed.  

Seems to me since vaxed and unvaxed can get and spread then testing is only method that holds water, EXCEPT that testing is suspect too.  Hmmmmmm we are in a fix

I think the plan is for companies with more tha 100 employees it is the unvaccinated that have to be tested weekly.  But you are correct, the vaccinated can not only transmit the virus but more often do so while asymptomatic.  And yes, the PCR test is prone to false positives using a CT over 30.  That's whay if I have to be tested it will only be with the antigen test (which is not the same as the antibody test).  And yes, numerous studies have shown that having natural antibodies offers an order of magnitude greater protection that the rMNA gene therapies and also seems to protect better against the variants.  

Like I said, their goal isn't to do anything other than distract from their many domestic and foreign policy disasters.  And the media will play this usual role in the attempt.

As usual, Biden has issued an edict with no flying idea how it can be implemented.  The man is just stupid and egotistical.  He is so anxious to put his mistakes behind him, but he careens from one disaster to another.  

I kept wondering today, when he was attending the 9/11 memorials if he was checking his watch there too.
