Biden probably picked the target.....You know that news is going to reverberate through the military and our allies.  Everyone is already disgusted.  And I'm sure in his speeches today, on 9/11, he will claim some victory.  

Reading this morning how his mandate for government employees and contractors is a disaster.  In typical Biden fashion, they made the pronouncement without any idea how it would be implemented and government personnel rules being what they are - it will be subject to normal protections.  Can you imagine the headache for a manager/supervisor to have to write up and then live through the documentation process for people that refuse to comply.  The article also predicted an unpresidented number of retirements.  The could also end up with a large part of the workforce sitting at home and collecting their paychecks after being put on administrative leave while their case is adjudicated.

Meanwhile the work has to get done and those who are left have to pick up the slack.  And yes, MM, there is room to pare some of the not-so-necessary work.  A reduced work force might help identify some of that and maybe get it eliminated, but there would definitely be a lot of folks, for a while anyway, having to do more than can really be expected of them.

And the politicians just keep on bloviating, posturing, and ignoring what is good for our country and instead doing everything they can to bolster their own personal power.  AND, making extremely deleterious decisions.

Not sure what you mean by "bad things" but the US military has done everything asked of it in an exemplary fashion. The drone took out the target the military was told to take out. The US military abandoned Bagram Air Base as they were instructed, then performed an evacuation mission that saw an unbelievably huge number of people evacuated in an unbelievably short period of time. I get really tired of all the talking heads berating "the generals" when the generals are advising, then executing the decisions of their civilian "bosses".  Of course the current administration  blames someone else for their poor decisions and the military is no exception.

Bad intel?  Perhaps they were fed the intel by the Taliban who was hoping that it would be a mistake that we would be blamed for.  Biden adn the State Depatment seem anxious to trust the Taliban.  

I agree that the military has done everything that was asked of it as well as they could.  They were not in charge - the State Department was in charge.  All of the accounts I have read about the military seems that they acted professionally under a great deal of stress and danger.  Those last 6 planes had no missile defense.

Next, there were only 64 people on that aircraft.

Also, aluminum has a much lower melting and boiling point than steel so it is plausible that no or almost no aluminum that was in that inferno could be recognized.  Same applies to physical items within that aluminum skin.

Not sure which laws of physics you cite as proof there was no airplane.  An explanation, if you have one, might shed some light.

Amen.  My old office was destroyed by fire, but thankfully, all of my former collegues got out.  3D545.  Other collegues that were on the other side of the building, felt the building shutter when the plan hit.  They saw the body bags laid out in the center courtyard.   My colleague, Mike Laychak's brother was killed in the attack.  He was in a conference room meeting with their general, right at the point of impact.

Isn't it funny and totally human nature to comprehend that had that happened while you worked there it might have been you as a victim instead of the current occupant.  Sort of like seeing a terrible traffic accident happen right in front of you and knowing that if you had been a little further ahead of where you were it would have been you.  Would be helpful if we could bottle up that feeling so people would better understand and empathize with those impacted by these kind of events.....not to mention never forget them.  Sadly I think the reality of 9/11 lessens each year which is both good and bad.  Like the old line that a recession is when you neighbor loses his job.  A depression is when you lose yours.  And of course it was cleverly followed by a recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.  Hat tip to Reagan.

First of all that is not a fact but an opinion.  So an airliner traveling at 400 miles per hour is going to hit a stone building and ANYTHING of the thin aluminum wing and tail would be recognizable?  I don't think so.

Hardly.  When I was in the Air Force one of my assignments involved flying on the E-4, also known as the "Doomsday Jet".  It was a Boeing 747 and its nose might reach the top of the second floor.  A 757 is a much smaller plane.

I agree that the aluminum didn't vaporize.  But it did, at best end up in puddles on the lowest level and/or be mixed with other materials in the inferno to make it indistinguishable.

Narrative changed to carrying victims."  Maybe the new narrative is the correct one.  And I can just see it now...people scurrying around placing pieces of mangled aircraft in strategic places and taking pictures, all while there were hundreds of others around them.  Plausible it is not.

I won't bother to go to that web site because you have failed to introduce even a shred of doubt as to what really happened that day.  And, BTW, the towers were built in an unusual fashion, with the outer walls being the load bearing structures and the individual floors more or less suspended from that exoskeleton.  Watch the videos of the towers coming down and you will see the exterior walls actually being pulled in from the weight of the floors above falling inside that exoskeleton.  Initially I wondered why there was such a small footprint of debris from something that big, and learning how it was built answered that  curiosity. 

I am done with this thread.  Go find someone else to try to hoodwink into believing in your fairy tale.

Have you seen the structural plans for the towers?  Take a look!  The center of the building was structural concrete that held up the building.  The exterior walls were steel and as you can see, didn't even slow down the planes.  From the center concrete the floors were supported by 60ft bar joists (largest bar joist job in history) in 4 sections on each floor.  Yes, the floors were concrete, but held up by long reach 60ft joists.  All the terriorist had to do was gun the planes into the center of the building, take out the center concrete structure and down they came.  Don't always believe the theorist who spout BS.

There are some items that if true would cause some worry.  1. Certain characters who owned building knew to not be there that day. 2. Some items were removed like the kowalgia memorabilia was removed from fish house before it burned. 3.  Looking at the fall of the towers it looks perfectly like a planned implosion.   4. Can a plane hit xx floor on top and cause that much damage?  If weight of plane and debris on top crushed the bottom then would have looked different.
