With regard to the Virginia election AOC stated "I think that the results show the limits of trying to run a fully 100% super moderated campaign that does not excite speak to or energize a progressive base."  I hope she gets her wish because the way I read Virginia results it is her socialist/progressive agenda that turned off independents and moderate Democrats and was a big part of pushing Youngkin over the finish line ahead of McAuliffe.

Personally I think AOC and the rest of her socialist squad are God's gift to the GOP.  She is quite literally too dumb, too young and inexperienced and too ideologically blind to understand that Joe Manchin is correct....we live in a center-right country.  And even with the indoctrination of kids in govt schools, once they get into the real world, start paying their own way and see what taxes do to their standard of living they too will move more to the center or right, at least on economic issues.  Not sure how she reconciles this with having lost pretty much everywhere with socialists, including the socialist in Buffalo that lost to the former Mayor who is liberal and was a write-in candidate.  For most people I would say she is knowingly lying to advance her cause....but she is literally so stupid that she probably actually believes it.  Good for those of us that abhor what she believes in.  I hope she takes over the Democrat party.

I can only imagine the make up of the district that voted her in.  She is so dumb.  

Surprisingly, I actually heard a Democratic woman - can't remember if she was in the House or Senate that said that people did not want Biden to be FDR, they just wanted a return to center and normalcy.  Then of course there was another wild eyed Democratic woman that said the reason they lost was becuase people don't understand what the Democracts have done for them.... Even the liberal Jake Tapper pointed out that they hadn't done anything yet.  He asked her if didn't she think that people might have voted differently if they had let the first infrastructure bill pass and people could see shovels in the dirt... but she denied that.  You could tell by the look in her eye she was a "true believer".
