Take note of what is happening with the polling the closer we get to election day.  Their standard operating procedure is as follows.  Early cycle polling is heavily slanted in the favor of Democrats - what is called push polling to get the desired outcome to influence raising money and dampening enthusiasm.  As election day draws nearer the polls begin to shift toward the GOP as they change the methodology to be more accurate....but still weighted in favor of Democrats - this is intended to dampen GOP enthusiasm.  Within a few weeks of the election polls shift even more to the GOP - this usually is after early voting begins which heavily favors Democrats.  They do this to retain a shred of credibility.  Then election day comes and the GOP does far better than most polls would indicate.  Pollsters then scramble to explain a last minute shift that no one could have possibly predicted.  In short...they aren't pollsters, they are partisan hacks trying to influence the outcome, not predict it.

Some polls, like Trafalgar, etc. do not do this.  Nor do campaign internal polls.....they need to know what is really going on.  That is why we are seeing more desperation from Democrats.  As a fine example, the bloviated Stacey Abrams is running a thoroughly disgusting ad right now in Georgia with several couples who had a miscarriage and then claimed that Georgia's new abortion law would make them a target of legal action.  Several thoughts come to mind.  One, it is an outright lie.  Two, how sick a person can you be to use a miscarriage to lie about a law in support of a political candidate?  In my opinion pretty disgusting that they allegedly found several leftists that had a miscarriage and convinced them to participate in the lie.  Three, anyone that has experienced the loss of a child in a miscarriage deserves a lot of sympathy.  But those couples that are allowing their pain to be used for partisan gain, especially when it involves an abject lie about a law, are not deserving of our sympathy.  But this is just one of many examples of their desperation.

Pollsters have placed us on a roller coaster ride for sure.  "Freefalling" should be the theme of this election.  There are times when I think "No way will Dems win a majority, or tie, in House or Senate".  Getting the House is good but controlling the Senate carries all the marbles, except that Romney and others would do their McCain impression on key issues.

Winning both is paramount.  But I have little confidence in the two Big Macs.
