Here's the reality.  Two scenarios are possible but given DJ Brandon in the WH they will be limited due to his ability to veto laws and them not having a veto-proof majority in the Senate.  If they just take the House it will be a tough slog because nothing will pass the Senate.  And even if they take the Senate they will need at least 54 seats to overcome RINO's like Romney, Collins, et al.  They can use reconciliation to pass bills but they will be sunk if vetoed.  So I think the best we can hope for is to blunt the damage done until 2024 when DJ Brandon or his replacement can be defeated.

They will shut down the government, try and impeach Biden, investigate the FBI and DOJ, bring up an abortion bill, and watch Jordan wet his pants when he is named Judiciary Chair. In the end, they will accomplish nothing. Oh, I forgot, and  taxes for the wealthy.

They will shut down the government - gridlock in my opinion is good.

try and impeach Biden - Good - he can handle it just like they did Trump over Russia Russia Russia Hillary nonsense and call to Ukraine.

investigate the FBI and DOJ - Can we tack on the IRS, DHS, ATF, CDC and a few other 3 letter departments?

bring up an abortion bill - Well DemonKKKrats had almost 50 years to make it actual law and protecting it - personally its up to the states at this point in my opinion.

watch Jordan wet his pants when he is named Judiciary Chair. Is this like you and Mueller/Trump investivgations ?  Pretty sure your depends have been wet for about 6 years now and you soaked them through with the raid in Florida.
